Calendar Of Events

The City of Lanesboro strives to be a multigenerational community that melds tradition with innovation, utilizes its natural resources responsibly, maintains fiscal health, and promotes the vitality and wellbeing of its businesses, citizens, and visitors.

The City of Lanesboro currently has a .5% sales tax in place, this revenue goes towards bond payments from past public infrastructure improvements. The tax was put in place in 2012 and collection is limited to $800,000. Additional information can be found at www.revenue.state.mn.us. Local use taxes on purchases of goods and services made outside of the community that are used within the community are subject to local use taxes.
