The City of Lanesboro has been made aware of fraudulent emails circulating that claim money is owed at the request of Mitchell Walbridge, Lanesboro City Administrator/Clerk.
Please be advised:
These invoices are a scam attempt.
The City of Lanesboro does NOT request wire payments.
Legitimate City invoices are sent directly through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
If you receive any suspicious email or communication referencing a Lanesboro staff member or requesting payment, do not respond or send payment.
