The Lanesboro City Office will be closing at noon today Wednesday February 22nd. We are closely monitoring the weather for tomorrow morning, and may have a delayed opening on Thursday morning if the weather warrants.

The City of Lanesboro is enacting it’s SNOW EMERGENCY POLICY beginning at 6pm on Tuesday February 21st and lasting until noon on Friday February 24th. All vehicles must be cleared from city streets during a snow emergency. Parking is available at the Community Center or Bass Pond Parking Lots.

Chill-Inn Lanesboro is a collaborative effort to investigate winter tourism in Lanesboro and Whalan.  This project includes the City of Lanesboro, Lanesboro Area Chamber of Commerce, Lanesboro EDA, Lanesboro Businesses Promotion Group, and other community groups.  The goal of Chill-Inn Lanesboro is to investigate winter tourism to help set winter visitor expectations (both for locals

A meeting will be held on Saturday March 25th at 10 a.m. in the Lanesboro Community Center for anyone interested in being a vendor at the 2023 Farmers Market. The Lanesboro High School Trap Team will be hosting Bingo and other fun events on Saturday January 28th. Doors open at 5:30, with bingo starting at 6pm. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and can be picked up at the City Office Friday January 27th from 8am to 3pm.

The City Office will be closed on Monday January 16, 2023.

The Lanesboro American Legion will be hosting it’s annual cancer telethon fish fry on Saturday January 14th. They begin serving at 5pm until sold out. $12.00 per meal.
