We were alerted to a water main break on Sheridan and Rochelle. The leak has been isolated. Our team will continue to monitor the situation. Repairs will be completed next week in partnership with the State of MN.

The filing period for mayor and city council is now open! Affidavits of Candidacy will be accepted until August 16th at 5pm. The City of Lanesboro has 2 council seats and the mayor up for election at this time. Please stop by the City Office to file. There is a $2.00 filing fee.
The EDA is looking for a member to serve on the 3 person board. Meetings are typically held the 1st Thursday of each month at 10:30 AM. If you are interested please stop by the city office for a committee application.
Lanesboro Public Utilities will be clearing the right of way of the undeveloped alley for the installation of new electrical lines. The area will include homes located on Elmwood St E and Hillcrest St E in the block between Ashburn and Calhoun. This work will begin as soon as we can secure a contractor.
