The Lanesboro American Legion will be hosting it’s annual cancer telethon fish fry on Saturday January 14th. They begin serving at 5pm until sold out. $12.00 per meal.

The EDA is interested in becoming a 5 member. Additional candidates are needed. There will not be a change in the scheduled pick up of trash and recycling during the holiday weeks. Pick up days will remain Wednesday December 28th and Wednesday January 4th.

All regularly scheduled meetings for tonight Wednesday December 21st have been cancelled due to the forecasted weather. This includes Library Board, Planning and Zoning and HPC. All parked vehicles must be moved from city streets every 24 hours. Additionally there is to be no parking in the downtown area from 2am to 7am during winter months. The fewer number of cars parked on city streets will allow for a more efficient clean up. Please give the plow extra space to work!
