The City of Lanesboro and MnDOT are planning a road and utility improvement project along Trunk Highway 250. Before the project can move forward, the City Council must consider Municipal Consent, which is required under state law for highway projects within city limits.
To keep residents informed and involved, the City will host:
Public Open House Wednesday, February 18, 2026 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Lanesboro City Hall Stop in anytime to review the project layout, ask questions, and talk with staff. No formal action will be taken.
Public Hearing Wednesday, February 18, 2026 6:00 p.m. Lanesboro City Hall The City Council will take public comments and may approve, approve with conditions, or deny Municipal Consent for the project.
