Hwy 250 Project Input Needed

Hwy 250 in Lanesboro
Project description
MnDOT is planning improvements to Hwy 250 from the Hwy
250 bridge over the Root River to Hwy 16, including
reconstructing the road and replacing utilities. Construction for
this project is anticipated to begin in 2026.
Project timeline
• Community engagement (spring 2023): Seek
community input on the future of the road
• Design and engineering (2024-2025): Design the road
• Construction (2026): Construction is anticipated to
begin

Feedback opportunities
MnDOT is collaborating with the City of Lanesboro to seek
community feedback on the design of the road.

• Online survey: After reviewing online resources, make sure to take the survey! The
survey is open until April 30.
• Interactive comment map: Is there a specific intersection where you have trouble
making right turns? Or maybe you’d like to see a crosswalk added somewhere? You can
also provide comments on specific places along Hwy 250 in Lanesboro through the
online map.
