A planned power outage for Thursday October 19 is scheduled for homes in: The outage is due to the replacement of a utility pole. Most homes will be without power from 8am to 10am with a few lasting until noon.

Lanesboro Public Utilities will be working with Norby Tree Service to trim tree branches near power lines. The work is scheduled for the week of October 23rd pending weather and contractor availability.

The HPC meeting will be held on Tuesday October 24 at 5:30pm in the Lanesboro Community Center Council Chambers.

Please remember that processed wood is not allowed at the Lanesboro Brush Dump. We have recently found pallets and other processed materials containing nails. This is causing unnecessary tire repairs to city equipment. Please respect our Brush Dump and the policies and regulations.

The Lanesboro Planning and Zoning commission will hold a public hearing to consider a conditional use permit at 100 & 102 Rivers Edge Drive Lanesboro, MN. The conditional use permit being considered is for a seasonal resort with short term rentals. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

The Lanesboro Public Utilities will be working with a contractor to clean sewer lines this week. The majority of the work will be focused by the bus garage, along the dyke, and in the loop downtown near the street shop.
