We will be coating the interior of the south water tower. Due to this process you may notice water coming from fire hydrants especially by circle drive, the cemetery and the water treatment plant. Utility staff are monitoring the situation carefully.

Asphalt Armor Sealcoating and Paving LLC from Winona MN will be here working in the areas of Hillcrest Ave and Zenith St. The portion on Zenith will require a street closure for 24 hours from Tuesday into Wednesday June 9th. The City of Lanesboro is accepting sealed bids for an old broken vent saw to be used for parts. Shindaiwa Model 757 Known missing parts include no chain or bar and the carburetor is missing a flange. Bids will be accepted at the City of Lanesboro PO Box 333 Lanesboro MN 55949 or dropped off

The Lanesboro American Legion will be hosting a flag burning ceremony on Monday June 14th at 7pm in the Bass Pond Parking Area. Flags may be dropped off at the City of Lanesboro Office until noon on Monday June 14th.

Customers of Lanesboro Public Utilities serviced by the Mi Energy line including addresses on Zenith St, Maple Drive and Hillside Ave will be without power on Wednesday June 2 from 10am to Noon while Mi Energy replaces a pole. No other properties in Lanesboro will be disrupted.
