Speaker Sharen Storhoff from Mabel, MN brings her knowledge of the life of Herbjorn Gausta (1854-1924) a painter of exceptional talent who appears to be the first professional artist of Norwegian immigrant origin. Sharen will also share locations where some of Gausta’s fine art paintings are located in Southeast Minnesota and Northeast Iowa.
