Sons of Norway Invites You!

A Program featuring Writer, Librarian and Researcher Nancy Silcox this Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 p.m. 

at Lanesboro Sons of Norway Hall (200 Parkway Ave. S)

The title of Nancy’s talk is “History Through Stories.”  She will touch on all of her books including the latest about her Swedish grandmother who worked for a wealthy family in Superior, WI before marrying and moving to Minnesota where she lived in Barnesville in the Red River Valley.  Other topics include the story of German Immigrants from Cincinnati, Ohio to New Ulm, Minnesota from 1856-1862 and the story of Civil Rights Trailblazer Samuel Wilbert Tucker and the 1939 Alexandria, Minnesota Library Sit-in.
