Reminder: Your Thoughts are Needed
Chill-Inn Lanesboro is a collaborative effort to investigate winter tourism in Lanesboro and Whalan. This project includes the City of Lanesboro, Lanesboro Area Chamber of Commerce, Lanesboro EDA, Lanesboro Businesses Promotion Group, and other community groups. Chill-Inn Lanesboro received grant funding from the Blandin Foundation and the Lanesboro Area Community Foundation to create marketing materials, research winter tourism, collect community feedback, and determine potential for winter tourism opportunities. The University of Minnesota Tourism Center is gathering information and completing a tourism assessment. These two surveys (one for businesses and one for residents) are part of the effort to determine the feasibility and opportunities surrounding winter tourism in Lanesboro and Whalan. A community meeting will be held on Tues., April 4, 2023, to discuss the findings of this survey and gather further community input. We greatly appreciate your time in responding to this survey and potentially joining us on April 4.
