Weather Permitting Lanesboro Public Works staff will be painting lines and cross walks throughout the city on Tuesday May 30 and Wednesday May 31st.

A contractor will be present inspecting the residential sewer laterals this week. This work is the result of scheduled improvements by MN Energy. The area included is the 500 block of Parkway, Kenilworth, Fillmore, Calhoun, and Ridgeview from Kirkwood Street to Pleasant Street.

The Lanesboro American Legion will host a flag burning ceremony on June 14th at 7:30pm in the Bass Pond parking area. Flags may be dropped off at the City of Lanesboro Office, Lanesboro Post Office, or at the American Legion.

A planned outage on Tuesday May 23rd from 5am to 6am is necessary to test the new control system for our diesel generator. People can expect multiple short outages during this time frame.
