The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission for March 18th has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 6pm.

The HPC meeting for tonight has been cancelled due to illness of members creating a lack of a quorum. The next HPC meeting will be on Monday, April 13th at 5:00 p.m.

Stop by the City Office to renew your pet license, golf cart permit, sandwich board, or chicken permit! Animal Licenses are $5.00 and require proof of vaccination. Golf Cart Permits are $20.00 and require proof of insurance. Sandwich Board Permits are $25.00 Please remember that you may not block the walking path of the sidewalk!

Beginning at 4:00 p.m. today, the Lanesboro Public Works team will begin plowing streets in residential areas. Please move vehicles from streets if possible to allow for quicker and safer snow removal. Thank you!

Due to overnight snowfall, the City of Lanesboro has declared a Snow Emergency until noon on February 20, 2026. Parking Reminder: To allow our crews to safely and efficiently clear the streets, please remove parked vehicles from city streets.
