The Lanesboro city council has closed the walking bridge until further notice for safety concerns. The council plans to continue discussion and investigation into the issues.

The Lanesboro City Office will be closing at noon today Wednesday February 22nd. We are closely monitoring the weather for tomorrow morning, and may have a delayed opening on Thursday morning if the weather warrants.

The City of Lanesboro is enacting it’s SNOW EMERGENCY POLICY beginning at 6pm on Tuesday February 21st and lasting until noon on Friday February 24th. All vehicles must be cleared from city streets during a snow emergency. Parking is available at the Community Center or Bass Pond Parking Lots.
